The Summa Foundation is hosting the Sapphire Ball on Sept. 8, 2012, to benefit Women’s Health! That’s us! Go, ladies!
This will be the 11th signature gala to support the work of Summa Health System. Summa’s mission is to provide the highest quality, compassionate care to its patients and members and to contribute to a healthier community. We have the same mission in women’s health as we focus on managing the health and well-being of women at every stage of their lives. The proceeds of the Sapphire Ball will benefit women’s programs, services, research and outreach.
The Sapphire Ball in 2010 was a great success. It was a wonderful night of dining and dancing with my circle of family and work friends. The highlights for me were Dr. Bernadine Healy’s motivational talk and hanging out with my girlfriends. Not surprisingly, my girlfriends stayed at the event to the very end!
This year promises all the enchantment and surprises you have come to expect from the Sapphire Ball – a black tie gala with gourmet dining, superb décor, dancing, raffles and the wonderful company of the region’s philanthropic, corporate and civic leaders.
